Easter Puppet Show 2013

Easter Sunday morning this year at Faith Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach included a theatrical presentation for the young children who participated in the day’s events.  The morning of March 31, 2013 began with hundreds in attendance at the end of 79th Avenue to participate in the annual Sunrise Worship Service on the beach led by the Reverend William “Ted” Ragsdale, Senior Pastor of the church.  A bountiful breakfast was then served to all at the church. The children were then entertained with a retelling of the greatest story ever told, reenacted with puppets by several talented members of the church.

Those in attendance who sat beneath the curtain gazed up in amazement at three very animated characters portraying their eyewitness account, as recorded in Scripture, of the events leading up to and including the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  The characters testified with joy and excitement as they summarized God’s divine plan of salvation for His children.  Jesus, the only Son of the Father, living a sinless life in a fallen world was crucified on a cross.  He died and was laid in a tomb, and then miraculously rose again on the third day.  His sacrifice paid in full the just penalty for all our sins, so that those who believe may live joyfully forever in communion with God in all His glory!

A member of the church recorded the event and posted the video on You Tube.  The 2013 Faith Presbyterian Church Easter Puppet Show can be viewed below:
